Dance with Me!

My child, I love you! I invite you to come dance with Me! I want you to move with Me. I know the right moves to take you into the next level with Me. I need you to trust Me and allow Me to lead you. At first it might feel awkward. You may feel that it can't be done. But if you will allow Me to teach you the steps and lean into Me as you hear the beat of the music of my heart, it will begin to feel natural and you will be free to move to the music.

I know the dances that are appropriate for each season in your life. Sometimes I will twirl you around and swing you as I lift you up into higher planes. Sometimes I need you to step on My feet when you don't know which way to move. As you step on My feet, allow Me to show you where to go. At times we will do a slow dance while I hold you close and love on you. Other times we will do a fast dance that will take your breath away. We will even join with others and do a lively line dance that lifts everyone's spirits.

All you need to do is follow the steps I teach you and allow Me to lead you. It might be hard at first as we learn to move together but after a while, you will be able to move in sync with Me without even thinking about your feet. After you learn the steps well, I may ask you to teach others how to dance with Me and encourage them to let go and allow Me to lead.

Step onto the dance floor with Me! I am eager to begin our dance lessons!

Peter in the Boat - Matthew 12:22-33

Jesus, why did you wait to calm the waves when Peter got out of the boat to walk on the water? I wanted Peter to know how to keep coming to Me, keep doing what he is called to do even when the storms around him were huge. I wanted him to see that as long as he keeps his focus on Me and not on his circumstances, he won't sink into the storm and be swallowed up. My child, I love you! Today is the day for new life! This is the season to celebrate life. I died so that you could have life and live it to the full. I arose from the dead to prove that I have the power to overcome death. There is new life all around you at this time of year. It is a reminder of what I did for you. I love you so much that I willingly suffered and died so that you could have new life. The same power that raised Me from the dead is alive in you when you accept Me as your Savior and Lord.
